To be sure, many members of organized crime display entrepreneurship, but to characterize all organized crime as “enterprise” is, well, too entrepreneurial. Third, I acknowledge that some organized crime groups may be more than busi nesses, which introduces a realism that the narrow “enterprise model” lacks.
